Dubai: Indian man Navaneeth Sajeevan won the mega prize money in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Raffle Draw held on 20th December 2020 after he picked the Millennium Millionaire Series 345.
Sajeevan, lives with his wife and child in Abu Dhabi since past four years. He bought the winning raffle ticket online on November 22.
The 30-year-old native of Kasargod in Kerala, is presently serving his notice period at his company. He was laid off last month as part of cost measures at his company affected by Covid -19
Sajeevan is the 171st Indian national to win the DDF mega prize. Indian expatriates make up the highest number of Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire ticket buyers.
Speaking to Gulf News, a delighted Sajeevan said: “It is unbelievable. I feel blessed and happy. I am sharing the prize with four other colleagues and friends. Still, I take home USD 200,000, which is a big amount.”
Sajeevan, said he had no idea what he wants to do with his money. His wife is still working in Abu Dhabi and he was planning to head home if he didn’t find a good job. Some part of his win will go towards settling loans to a tune of Dh100,000. Rest will go into his savings as a back-up for his future
